THIS JOB IS REMOTE WITH 70% TRAVEL (THROUGHOUT THE US - COAST TO COAST). WORK SCHEDULE IS TYPICALLY 45-50 HOURS PER WEEK IN THE FIELD & OT ELIGIBLE (2-12 HOURS EVERY 2 WEEKS).  HOWEVER, THIS CAN VARY BASED ON THE ONSITE REQS / HOW MUCH YOU TRAVEL. The Controls Engineer resolves somewhat complex site requirement changes, and support solutions to complete designed equipment installation. Travels to job sites. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Programs systems to support equipment operations. Interfaces with internal engineering/project management and customers to determine system requirements. Supports electrical installation via interfacing to electrical installers. Debugs electrical installation of controls and motor components of somewhat difficult complexity. Travels to jobs sites 65-80%. Additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field 2+ years previous professional controls / electrical engineering experience that includes strong PLC programming with Allen Bradley 2+ years of materials handling HMI knowledge is a plus. Regular travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required. High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications. Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).

Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.

Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.

Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

Ability to work with and influence peers and management.

Compensation depends on experience but is typically $40-45.67/hr W2 with a target salary to convert $84-95K plus bonus
