Overview
D432 is seeking entry level engineers who will be supporting a multidisciplinary team developing concepts, designing, building, maintaining, certifying and life cycle support of the ship control system for the safe operation of US submarines. We seek highly motivated candidates across multiple engineering disciplines including, but not limited to, systems engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, and aerospace engineering.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Support ongoing systems and component engineering efforts to conceptualize, develop, verify, deploy and maintain a complex hardware and software-based system.
Analyze, develop, and review requirements and verification plans for system, hardware and software development
Support development and maintenance of system-level architecture concepts and evaluations
Support software development efforts by managing and maintaining interface definitions and performing requirements analysis. Activities may also include code development, code peer review and functional test
Provide concept-to-production engineering support for various electrical and electronic hardware components. Activities to include circuit design, component selection, electronics packaging, procurement, documentation, prototyping, troubleshooting and qualification
Test plan and environment development, test execution and data analysis
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelors of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Physics
0-5 years of postgraduate experience

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in, and possibly lead, interdisciplinary teams
Possesses the ability to master the complex technical elements of submarine systems and components

Diagnostics and troubleshooting of electronic and electromechanical systems
