Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Factory Service Engineer to provide installation, maintenance, and repair support for CNC machine tools, automation systems, and related equipment at customer sites. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair CNC machine tools, pallet/automation systems, and related peripherals at customer locations.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues; collaborate with factories as needed for resolution.

Prepare tools, procedures, documentation, and customer details before service assignments.

Create, update, and maintain technical documentation and service reports.

Coordinate field service efforts between customers, service teams, and internal departments.

Provide training and support to other service engineers on CNC equipment and automation systems.

Manage customer relationships by delivering professional service and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Work in the production department at the U.S. factory when not assigned to customer projects.

Accurately complete and submit all required service documentation and reports.

Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferred).

3–5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining CNC machine tools.

Experience with CNC systems such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens (DMG or Mori Seiki experience a plus).

Strong communication skills with the ability to interface at all organizational levels.

Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Highly adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.

Must be able to travel 75% of the time across multiple states; occasional overnight stays required.
