Description The Multi Domain Solutions Division at Leidos is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support an exciting program with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy, maintain, and scale hybrid cloud digital infrastructures for our AFLCMC customer. We are looking for a quick-learning, dedicated professional with a strong background in delivering cloud solutions. Primary Responsibilities: Deploy and manage virtual cloud infrastructures across hybrid environments using Microsoft Azure Cloud (IaaS & PaaS). Automate and streamline deployments and configurations with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and ARM/BICEP templates. Provision, maintain, and scale cloud resources in Microsoft Azure, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Monitor resource utilization for cost efficiency and scalability. Troubleshoot system, application, and infrastructure issues and conduct root cause analyses as necessary. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards within a DevSecOps framework. Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate infrastructure automation into the development lifecycle. Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes for microservices architectures. Configure and maintain monitoring tools to guarantee system and application availability and performance. Identify improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce latency, and enhance uptime. Apply security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network segmentation, and encryption to safeguard hybrid cloud infrastructures. Assist in compliance and audit initiatives (e.g., RMF, NIST, ISO 27001). Provide Tier-2/3 support for escalated issues, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors. Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing. Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship and a Top Secret Clearance is required, with the ability to obtain a SCI prior to your start date. Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, with additional experience considered in lieu of a degree. Must possess a DoD 8140 Intermediate certification (Security+ CE or equivalent). Proficiency in virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, and OpenStack. Experience in public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation. Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and incident management. Solid grasp of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, and firewalls. Practical knowledge of DevSecOps principles, methodologies, and best practices. Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in cybersecurity and DevOps practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Air Force Life Cycle Management Center programs. Intermediate Azure Certifications such as AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate or similar certifications from other Cloud Service Providers. Experience with security tools and practices relevant to DevSecOps (e.g., SAST, DAST, IAST). Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST) and DoD regulations. Advanced cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certifications from another cloud provider. Experience with Azure Stack Edge family of devices. Experience with DoD networks, particularly classified and operational networks. Understanding of enterprise networking concepts, especially VPNs, tunneling, QoS, and cloud connectivity solutions (e.g., Azure Express Route). Experience with IaC and security automation. Pay Range: Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
