We are currently sourcing for a Cloud Engineer to work at Fidelity Investments in Westlake, TX or Boston, MA.The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.The RoleThe Customer Data & Marketing Technology group within Fidelity’s Personal Investing (PI) organization is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and implement AWS cloud-based solutions. This role is critical in enhancing our Salesforce CRM platform to extend its capabilities in support of Fidelity’s world class customer support staff. This role has an emphasis on the data and database components of AWS development as part of a full-stack development squad practicing Agile delivery and deployment. In addition, there will be technology leadership opportunities working with other members of the squad.As a Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral member of the dynamic AWS squad continuously innovating and improving our enablement platforms and capabilities to accelerate Fidelity’s journey to the cloud. You will work on a wide variety of cloud native stacks and technologies, using groundbreaking architectures and services.The Expertise and Skills You Bring7+ Years of experience in Software Engineering and 3+ Years of cloud experience.Proven hands-on experience with two or more languages – Python, Java, Go etc.Design and develop Java based application programming interfaces (API's) through SOAP and Restful web services to improve back-end performance of applications.Design & Develop Data pipelines using a variety of languages / Frameworks.Extensive experience working with AWS services like Identity and Access Management, VPCs, Security groups, ELBs, etc.Extensive knowledge on docker containers and ability to understand and implement containerization of applications from scratch.Perform CICD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) using tools such as Jenkins for deployment of application docker containers in production and non-prod environments.Proven experience working with EKS, RDS and other components of AWS infrastructure for deployment of application using Docker containers and managing their interactions.Extensive experience working with Infrastructure as Code (AWS Cloud Formation Templates, Terraform, Azure ARM templates).Experience working with Event driven microservice architecture.Experience working with Test Automation Frameworks.Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS and front-end programming languages such as Java Script, HTML and CSS is a plus.Very strong technical curiosity to learn and passionate about new technologies and cloud trends.Experience mentoring and coaching engineers on standard methodology and engineering finesse.Strong communication and influencing skills.Experience working in globally distributed teams.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Equivalent.Bonus skillsAWS Certified Developer – Associate / Architect is a big Plus.Certified Kubernetes Application Developer is a big plus.Company OverviewFidelity TalentSource, formerly Veritude, is the in-house temporary staffing provider for Fidelity Investments, one of the largest and most diversified global financial services firms in the industry.
