Assignment Type: 6M CTH Must Haves 8+ years experience working with Postgres DB Engineering. 6+ years experience with Postgres, Aurora in AWS Ecosystem. Knowledge and experience working with AWS Dev Automation (CFT). Solid database skills. References & Interview Information 2 references required. Interview rounds: 2 (TBD), each 30 mins, via MS Teams (Video mandatory). Candidate Instructions Please include answers to the following questions at the top of your resume: Years of hands-on experience in a database engineering role and your contributions. Years of experience in cloud database design and automation. Experience with Aurora provisioning automation using CFT/Terraform. Experience automating Mongo Atlas provisioning with CFT/Terraform. Qualifications Strong PostgreSQL architecture, internals, and best practices. Experience with database design, development, and optimization. Ability to troubleshoot PostgreSQL issues. Experience with AWS Aurora features, management, monitoring, performance, and cost optimization. Understanding of AWS ecosystem and automation tools (CFT, Terraform). Database administration skills: performance monitoring, backup/recovery, troubleshooting, tuning, security, and compliance. Experience with traditional DB tech support (Oracle, MongoDB) is a plus. Database migration experience, including AWS DMS and migration tools (e.g., Oracle to PostgreSQL Aurora). Soft Skills & Education Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, driven, creative. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. Additional Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level. Employment type: Full-time.
