Mantech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD .
In this role you will be working as a cloud Engineer utilizing cloud computing platforms and developing full stack web application interfacing with AWS services.  The team delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation.
Responsibilities Included but are not limited to : Responsible for building new and improving existing CI/CD pipelines. Responsible for performing operations on end-user virtual machine provisioning/de-provisioning (VMWARE, and Amazon AWS platforms) supporting the automation of Active Directory security group manipulations. Will perform daily development using .Net framework with C#, Python, MSSQL and minor system administrative duties on Windows and Linux platforms. Responsible for creating collection object cleanup routine within an Angular/Node JS application to simulate a hierarchical cascade delete process for a dynamic MongoDB system.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university 12+ years of programming experience, including 1.5+ years with an object-oriented language. ​ ​5+ years functional experience with containerization technologies like Docker. ​2+ years’ experience working within the Linux desktop environment and bash shell​ Experience with Ansible, Python, Angular and Django IAT II certification (DoD 8140 required within 60 days of starting employment.  Acceptable certifications include CCNA-Security/CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/ or SSCP)
Preferred Qualifications: ​Experience with open-source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project such as GitLab, AWS Web Services, and Visual Studio ​.Net framework with C#, Python, MSSQL and minor system administrative duties on Windows and Linux platforms Kubernetes Application Developer or Administrator certification can be substituted for additional 2 years of experience ​​ Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
Physical Requirements: The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
