Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in database architecture and administration.
• Proficiency in Azure.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, T‑SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations in Azure for advanced analytics.
• Experience in Power BI (Fabric), Azure Data Factory, and other Analytics tools for business intelligence.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, security best practices, and role‑based access controls (RBAC).
• Familiarity with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Understanding and experience with Security & Compliance.
• Ability to come on‑site for a hybrid environment.

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Cloud Database Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate would have 7+ years of experience in database architecture and administration and a deep understanding of Azure. Day to day for this role will include designing, implementing, and managing Azure SQL Database, Managed Instances, and SQL Server on VM solutions. You will develop highly available, scalable, and secure database architectures for cloud environments. This role will be hybrid on-site in Tampa, FL.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
