The engineer will also perform cost-benefit analysis, conduct conceptual studies, and prepare budget and appropriation requests. They will interface with operations and stakeholders, host bi-weekly project status meetings, translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders, and incorporate feedback as needed. The role requires maintaining detailed records of design reviews, project progress, and compliance, and preparing reports and updates for the section manager and other stakeholders. Additionally, this person will be responsible for designing the support of the anchor that holds the structure.

Required Skills & Experience
4+ years' experience as a Civil Design Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Design expertise in structural engineering; develop conceptual designs for various new SSCs and modifications to existing SSCs
Strong technical knowledge in the design of all types of steel, concrete, and masonry structures
Knowledge of all applicable codes such as AISC, ACI, ASCE, NYC Building Code, etc.
General engineering experience in building envelope restoration for various facade and roof systems, and general facility inspections
