Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Civil Site Engineer to lead our Charleston offices civil site team. This is a leadership role focused on driving business growth, managing multidisciplinary teams, delivering exceptional site development projects, and cultivating strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, staff leadership, and business development within site civil engineering. Key Responsibilities: Lead and grow the civil site practice by executing strategic growth plans alongside office managers and practice leaders Develop and maintain strong client relationships to generate new business opportunities in the Charleston and broader Lowcountry market Oversee design, permitting, and construction oversight for site development projects Manage multidisciplinary teams, including mentoring and performance management of junior and senior staff Prepare and contribute to winning proposals and project bids Monitor and manage department budgets and resource allocation to ensure financial success Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing engineering staff Serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor for project teams Promote a culture of quality, safety, and client satisfaction Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is required Minimum 10 years of experience in site civil engineering, including project management and business development Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on staff development Proven ability to build client relationships and grow a civil engineering practice Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard engineering software Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Local market knowledge of the Charleston and Lowcountry region is a strong plus Why Join Us?
