The Civil Engineer Position: This recruitment aims to establish a six-month eligible list to fill current and future vacancies in the Department of Public Works, Traffic Engineering Section. The section maintains a safe and efficient road system for all users, designing and maintaining traffic signals, signs, striping, and guard rails, and conducting safety evaluations. Responsibilities include traffic studies, engineering plans, citizen engagement, and inter-agency coordination, all while adhering to standards and policies. The role is a journey-level class within the Civil Engineer series, with opportunities for advancement to Assistant and Senior Civil Engineer positions.
