Our client is currently seeking a  Civil Engineer.
Job Duties: Perform physical and structural design activities related to the maintenance, modification, and replacement of electrical power transmission lines under the guidance of a senior engineer. Creates drawings, specifications, and bill of materials to be used for field maintenance activities. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria required for making adaptations and modifications under the supervision of senior engineer. Assists with engineering special projects requiring application of standardized designs and specifications. Participates in transmission maintenance activities that require field investigation for the purpose of siting, constructability, and inspection. Reviews drawings and other documents in support of encroachment investigations as needed. Performs transmission line operations and maintenance functions as needed including maintenance support for capital projects, review of bill of materials, process improvement, or other position related duties and responsibilities that Management and/or Executive Staff may deem necessary.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Proficiency in AutoCAD
Preferred: Electrical utility project experience PLS CAD experience
Pay Rate: $31.25 – 40/hr, dependent on experience
