As a Business Process Engineer / Project Manager, analyzing, designing, and implementing scalable process improvements that deliver measurable impact. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, facilitating change, and building sustainable systemsnot managing traditional project portfolios at our headquarters in Fairfield, NJ
What Youll Be Doing
Process Analysis & Design
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current-state processes using tools like Value Stream Mapping (VSM), flowcharts, and diagnostic frameworks.
- Facilitate meetings with subject matter experts to uncover inefficiencies and identify transformative opportunities.
- Design future-state process models that align with strategic business objectives.
- Develop and execute gap-closure strategies and roadmaps to drive continuous improvement.
Process Project Execution
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to implement process changes, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Translate improvement strategies into actionable plans with clear milestones and accountability.
- Monitor project progress, resolve blockers, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Communicate project status and outcomes to stakeholders, focusing on process impact and adoption.
Process Auditing & Governance
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of key business processes across departments.
- Audit SOPs for accuracy, completeness, and operational relevance.
- Conduct operational walkthroughs to validate alignment between documented and actual processes.
- Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions with a focus on compliance and excellence.
- Lead efforts to refresh documentation, retrain teams, and standardize best practices.
What You Bring to the Table
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or operational leadership.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA certification is a plus.
- Deep familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
- Proficiency with enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, WMS) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with project management tools to support initiative tracking.
- Knowledge of distribution or manufacturing center environments is highly desirable.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to listen, influence, and lead with empathy.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and driving results without formal authority.
- Proven ability to manage change and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with a strong bias toward execution and results.
- Comfortable engaging with executive leadership and escalating issues with professionalism.
