Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Data Analyst with expertise in Biotech R&D data. The ideal candidate will turn complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making in research and development. This role involves close collaboration with R&D, IT, and business teams to ensure accurate data capture, analysis, and use, optimizing innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate data collection, storage, and integration across platforms.
Analyze biotech R&D data, document requirements, and develop IT solutions.
Create and maintain system integrations, dashboards, and reports.
Support bioinformatics and R&D applications, including LIMS and ELN.
Design and implement business intelligence solutions aligned with R&D goals.
Conduct ad hoc analyses and automate KPI reports for biotech research.
Serve as a liaison between R&D, IT, and business teams for data initiatives.
Lead or support data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Biotechnology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
Experience:
10 years as a Data or Business Analyst, preferably in biotech or pharmaceuticals.
Proven experience with biotech R&D data, including genomics and clinical trials.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
Experience with data visualization tools (, JMP, Power BI).
Understanding of data management and cloud platforms (, AWS, Azure).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of biotech regulatory compliance (, FDA, EMA) preferred.
Commitment to staying updated on industry trends and data analytics.
