We're seeking a talented Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Customer Service Engineering Services team at Ring & Blink. In this transformative role, you'll help architect and build our next-generation data warehouse while developing AI-powered dashboards that enable deep analytical capabilities for our business users. You'll establish data quality frameworks to ensure reporting accuracy and have the opportunity to contribute to various AI initiatives, working alongside engineers who build large-scale enterprise software. Key job responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Tableau and Amazon QuickSight
Lead data engineering initiatives to modernize our data warehouse architecture
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Audit and rebuild legacy reports to ensure data accuracy and reliability
Implement data quality frameworks and monitoring systems
Develop ETL pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources including Salesforce, AWS services, and third-party applications
Partner with cross-functional teams to establish data governance standards
Create and maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and reports
A day in the life
In this role, you'll lead the data analytics initiatives and develop business intelligence solutions using Tableau and QuickSight. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll translate business requirements into technical solutions while maintaining ETL pipelines that integrate data from Salesforce, AWS services, and third-party applications. You'll balance strategic projects with operational needs - from modernizing data warehouse architecture to implementing quality frameworks. As a key member of the CS Engineering Services team, you'll establish data governance standards and deliver impactful data-driven insights that drive business decisions.

The CS Engineering Services team powers customer service operations for Blink and Ring, unifying expert Salesforce developers, software engineers, BI engineers, and data scientists. We deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and agent effectiveness through advanced solutions and data-driven insights. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience in business intelligence and data engineering
Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling
Extensive experience with Tableau and/or Amazon QuickSight
Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline development
Understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling
Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce reporting and analytics
Familiarity with AWS services (Redshift, S3, Glue, etc.)
Knowledge of dbt or similar data transformation tools
Experience with real-time data processing and streaming
Background in customer service analytics
Certified AWS Data Analytics Specialist

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
