Responsibilities
As a BIM Engineer your key responsibilities are to be involved in the entire phase of construction including BIM modeling and AutoCAD design.
Creation of BIM Models and drawings through all phases of the project – schematic design, design development, and the creation of construction documents. Applicants must be experienced in the development of construction documents and all their component parts-details and schedules
Attend BIM coordination meetings and create a clash free model within specified time frame
Review model changes discussed in BIM meeting with the fire protection designer
Make changes agreed upon in BIM meetings using Revit based fire protection software
Manage the drawing file storage system
Assist design team with creating submittal drawing packages
Skills and Knowledge
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and effective time management.
Works independently, with little/no supervision, with an interest in quickly learning/applying new skills/ abilities.
Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Ability to present information through verbal and written communication

What it takes
3 – 5 years directly related with BIM, AutoCAD MEP, Revit drafting, design, and modeling
A graduate of a technical school or completed Internship Program preferred
Basic working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft office
