OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The BI Engineer / Visualization & UX Focus is responsible for analytics and design. They build executive dashboards, embedded operational reports, and story-driven visualizations that help our stakeholders act with confidence. Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI (including embedded use) Collaborate with the PO and stakeholders to deliver intuitive user experiences Ensure consistency in themes, layouts, and visuals across reports Train business users on self-serve capabilities and insights exploration Support operational teams with ad hoc analysis and report enhancement Other duties as assigned ALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordingly. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years in BI development, analytics, or data visualization roles 2+ years of experience delivering BI solutions using Power BI apps and workspaces within Microsoft Fabric Experience with implementation of row-level security and management of access via Azure Active Directory security groups Deep proficiency in Power BI (DAX, bookmarks, drill-throughs, themes) Attention to design, usability, and stakeholder empathy Bonus if you’ve worked in regulated or high-volume service environments Experience embedding Power BI reports into third-party applications a strong plus PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with prompt engineering and human-in-the-loop AI workflows preferred Master’s in AI in Business (MS-AIB), Information Systems (MS-ISM), or equivalent technical program preferred Acumen, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
