Job Summary

We are seeking a Backend Engineer with strong experience in Node.js and Java to support a back endfocused streaming platform. The ideal candidate is an agile-minded problem solver with experience building robust APIs and services in microservices architectures. This is a full-time, hybrid 3 days onsite role based in Glendale, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Java and Node.js Build scalable and efficient APIs that support web and mobile applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Participate in two-week agile sprints and daily scrum ceremonies Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as needed Contribute to architecture and design discussions with technical leadership

Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in backend development Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js Familiarity with Spring Boot and REST API development Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies Strong understanding of RESTful API and microservices architecture Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications
