Position Overview:

As an experienced Backend and Infrastructure Software Engineer, youll play a key role in building and enhancing the next-generation capital markets platform for alternative investments. Youll work closely with a cross-functional teamspanning Product Design, Engineering, and Quality Assuranceto deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that power our ecosystem.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with client support teams to investigate, diagnose, and resolve platform issues.
• Analyse system logs to identify, document, and proactively address potential platform problems.
• Develop API connectivity to integrate existing systems with other members of a private, permissioned blockchain network.
• Implement blockchain-based trust mechanisms to allow secure, targeted exchange of financial and user data within the network.
• Build multi-language SDKs (Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, etc.) to accelerate adoption of our platform by diverse organizations.
• Contribute to creating a truly distributed marketplace ecosystem for digital securities.

About you:

• 5+ years of professional experience with strong programming skills in multiple languages (Java, Node/Typescript, etc)
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferably), Linux environments (bash/shell) and DevOps technologies (such as Docker)
  
• Familiarity with front-end web frameworks such as Angular 2+ (nice to have)
  

Product development experience in the fintech area and understanding of distributed ledgers and enterprise applications of blockchain technology (such as Hyperledger Fabric) isvery appreciated.

• This U.S.-based position offers a competitive base salary that varies depending on the candidates location. Pay ranges may differ for specific regions.
• The role is flexible, allowing for remote or hybrid work arrangements. Our office is located in Houston, and while you're welcome to work from the office whenever you choose, its not a requirement.
• Candidates must reside within the United States to be considered.
