Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer (Local to Jackson, MS) Location: Jackson, MS (Remote with Occasional Onsite Meetings) Type: Contract

Job Overview: We are partnering with a Mississippi State agency in search of a local contractor based in or around Jackson, MS with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure . This is a primarily remote opportunity, but candidates must be able to attend occasional onsite meetings as needed by the client. Key Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure

Strong knowledge of Azure services including (but not limited to): Azure Virtual Machines

Azure Active Directory

Azure DevOps

Azure Networking

Azure Storage Solutions

Experience with Azure security best practices and governance

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Must be local to the Jackson, MS area or within a reasonable commuting distance

Preferred Skills: Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, etc.)

Experience working with state or government agencies

Familiarity with hybrid cloud/on-prem environments
