JANA, Inc. has positions available for Avionics/ Electrical Systems Integration Engineers.Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.The Avionics/ Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for integration of aircraft systems, including design, analysis, substantiation and coordination of STC Projects for both Air Transport and General Aviation Aircraft. The Systems Engineer will work alongside other Engineers and be involved in all aspects of each project (scope, schedule, and budget).Essential Experience:* Integration of new or replacement aircraft systems such as GPS, TCAS, EGPWS, FMS, ATC, ADS-B, SATCOM, WIFI, and their associated controllers, annunciators and antennas.* Construction of Block Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Wire Routing Diagrams, STC kit Manufacturing Diagrams in AutoCAD or similar CAD systems.* Performing Surveys of customer aircraft to determine design requirements.* Excellent time management skills; the ability to work multiple projects while maintaining published schedules.Desirable Experience:* Knowledge of ATA Drawing & Document Standards* Ability to develop and manage various avionics modification projects on commercial aircraft types from the design phase through installation and FAA certification activities* Knowledge of FAA STC Certification processThis position requires a minimum or 4 years of experience in Systems Integration with an emphasis in Avionics / Electrical Engineering. A bachelors degree is preferred.
