This position will lead the setup, strategy, and execution for audio delivery of Milwaukee Bucks games, Marquette Men's Basketball games and special events at Fiserv Forum. This person should have expert knowledge of live event audio mixing, signal-path engineering, and be responsible for event day setup and operation of the PA sound system.
Responsibilities: Serve as Audio Engineer 1 for Fiserv Forum live events Collaborate with Game Presentation, Entertainment, Broadcast, and event teams to create seamless, impactful in-venue sound experiences Setup and maintain necessary event equipment, including wired and wireless microphones, IEMs, wired and wireless intercom and Dante Work with Crown amps, JBL Speakers, Dante, Riedel, Audio Architect, ClickEffects ProAudio, Shure mics/IEMs and wireless coordination Create sub mix on-court for performers Work with Fiserv Forum broadcast engineering team to inventory and maintain audio equipment and create best practice standards Work with in-arena DJ's to ensure optimal music experience for live sporting events Maintain best practices for live event audio mixing per NBA and NCAA regulations Ability to take direction and perform tasks independently and efficiently Be proactive and maintain positive working relationships with staff Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Proficient with Yamaha Audio Board consoles or equivalent audio production consoles, Crown amps, JBL Speakers, Dante, Riedel, Audio Architect, ClickEffects Audio, Shure mics/IEMs and wireless coordination Minimum 5 years' experience of live audio mixing within an in-arena control room setting Understanding of Scoreboard Control Room workflows Ability to work in fast paced environment Must be able to work with team Be able to lift, move and/or carry audio equipment Ability to work with performers in a professional setting Have excellent interpersonal & communication skills Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude Punctual, regular and consistent attendance Be able to work nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedules Be able to work effectively with all levels of staff, management, executive leadership and event managers.
