Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill an Associate Test Engineer job in the Danbury, CT area. In this role. you will support testing and analysis for primary battery chemistries, including alkaline, at a leading R&D facility. You will perform performance and safety tests, collect and analyze data, and ensure compliance with ANSI, IEC, and company standards using a wide array of lab equipment and test systems. Associate Test Engineer Job responsibilities: Conduct battery tests for performance, safety, and compliance using company and industry standards Use lab tools such as environmental chambers, test systems, and robotics to execute test methods Perform pre- and post-test electrical inspections and battery measurements Monitor lab equipment including ovens, test systems, and environmental chambers Execute test methods involving thermal, mechanical shock, impact, and leakage assessment Record and analyze test results using Lab Information Management Systems and Excel Comply with EH&S, lab accreditation, and operational protocols Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering preferred Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, meters, and lab tools Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of test data Effective communication and organizational skills Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally Independent work ethic and strong sense of ownership for quality results If you are interested in this Associate Test Engineer job in Danbury, CT, please apply now to be connected with a member of our team.
