Job Summary The Production Associate Engineer's role is to support the production process of thin film deposition involving vacuum equipment. This hands-on role requires a well-rounded individual to complete a variety of technical and organizational tasks related to maintaining and improving the production process. Job Functions Provide support for thin film deposition vacuum equipment in a cleanroom environment. Provide guidance on preventative maintenance to technician team. Support development and experiments to increase yield and product quality. Support qualification of new products, tools, or processes in the line. Collaborate with interdepartmental team to maintain product quality. Write and maintain standard operating procedures. Manage parts inventory. Manage and generate reports on tool data and maintenance. Requirements
Requirements Introductory knowledge and understanding principles of thin film deposition and vacuum equipment. Knowledge of semiconductor, dielectric, and metal materials processing methods. Experience with thing film materials characterization methods a plus. Cleanroom experience is a plus. Experience applying the scientific method and engineering principles. Good oral and written communication skills and ability to collaborate. Ability to analyze data and present results to decision makers. General computer skills including MS Office and email. Familiarity with data and mechanical design engineering programs such as SolidWorks or similar. Associate degree or higher in relevant field of engineering.
