Job Description

Education

• Minimum: Associate degree in computer programming or a relevant field.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Suite Proficiency (Excel, SharePoint, etc.).

• Basic Data Modeling (logical and physical).

• Analytical Skills (ability to interpret statistical results).

• Database Tools (familiarity with SQL, Oracle, or similar).

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Caterpillar systems/facilities.

• Supply chain or manufacturing process acumen.

Job Description

o Test, modify, and maintain databases.

o Correct errors and collaborate with analysts/programmers.

o Support capacity planning by analyzing product demand.

o Maintain statistical models (e.g., ECR-S tools, SCOPE Process).

o Lead moderately complex projects (e.g., updating SharePoint schedules).

o Investigate manufacturing capabilities and propose solutions.

o Present insights to team members and stakeholders.

• Input/manage data in ECR-S tools.

• Coordinate and maintain analysis results.

• Collaborate with a team of 4 (onsite).

Soft Skills:

• Strong verbal/written communication.

• Problem-solving and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a team and manage time independently.

Tools Used:

• Microsoft Suite (Excel, SharePoint).

• Database tools (SQL, Oracle, Visual Basic).
