In this highly transparent role, you will be at the center of a multimedia IP design effort working with all teams, with a critical impact on getting functional products to millions of customers quickly.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the architecture team to write microarchitecture specifications and define interfaces for pixel-processing IPPerform feasibility analysis on suggested architecture(s) and algorithm(s)Perform RTL design and logic implementation of agreed architectureIntegrate subsystems that have both internal and external IPsPerform front-end implementation tasks such as synthesis, logic equivalence check, and STAMinimum QualificationsBS degree with 3+ years of relevant industry experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience in media, video, pixel, or display designsUnderstanding of timing, area, and complexity tradeoffs in sophisticated data path designFamiliarity with on-chip bus protocols like AMBA (AXI, AHB, APB)Experience with front-end implementation tasks such as synthesis, STA, and logic equivalenceIndustry exposure to ASIC/FPGA design methodologiesStrong collaboration and communication skillsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation, with a range between $143,100 and $264,200, depending on skills and experience.
