AI Software Engineer - Robotics & AI Industry
Location: San Jose, CA (100% On-site or Hybrid)
A fast-growing company in the robotics and AI space is seeking a mid-level AI Software Engineer to join its cutting-edge engineering team. You will play a vital role in building intelligent systems for next-generation autonomous security robots by developing and integrating AI models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), into real-world robotic applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement AI/ML models to power perception, decision-making, and behavior in autonomous robots. Integrate and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) and multi-LLM architectures for robotic control and event response. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine real-time AI solutions using real-world data. Write clean, efficient code in C++ and Python; utilize ROS/ROS2 frameworks and APIs for system integration. Support testing, training, and tuning of machine learning algorithms in both simulated and real environments. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, robotics, or related fields, with demonstrated experience working with LLMs or multi-LLM systems. Strong proficiency in C++, Python, ROS/ROS2, and API development. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (Master's preferred). Hands-on experience training machine learning models with sensor data. Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a passion for solving complex problems.
