The Applications Engineer will play a key role in supporting clients by helping them select the right display products, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and designing or modifying displays to meet their needs. Light travel may be required to meet with customers or manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities Work directly with customers to understand their display requirements and develop tailored solutions. Design and test electronic displays, including circuit design, PCB layout, and software development. Review and evaluate new product samples, develop test plans, and validate product performance. Provide technical support to customers and internal teams via email, phone, or in-person. Assist with second sourcing for standard production products, including test and validation processes. Support production activities, including developing, modifying, or repairing test fixtures. Conduct production testing for customer requirements and RMAs, troubleshooting and debugging designs as needed. Develop technical documentation such as schematics, product manuals, and application notes. Assist in the Engineering Change Process, including documentation, coordination, testing, and tracking results. Stay current with industry advancements and provide technical training to internal teams. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or higher. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical role, preferably as an Applications Engineer in the electronics industry. Proficiency in C++, C, or similar programming languages. Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers (PIC, ATMEL, ARM, etc.), and peripherals (I²C, SPI, USB, GPIO, SD Card). Solid understanding of electronics theory and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Preferred Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics. Hands-on experience with soldering, breadboarding, and prototype development. Experience debugging and troubleshooting PCBs and electronic systems. Knowledge of CAD modeling. Familiarity with OLED, LCD, LED, or VFD display technologies is a plus.
