Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking an Applications Engineer on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area manufacturer. Our client is seeking an experienced individual to provide solution-based assistance for their customers' assembly-based technical inquiries. Key responsibilities include application testing and evaluation, product selection assistance, conceptualize solutions and preparation of proposals.
Requirements:Three (3) years of experience in the manufacturing industry (automation industry preferred).Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical and pneumatic schematicsExperience with conventional tool room equipment including manual lathe, mill, surface grinders, (s) is a plusHistory of self-motivation, organization, problem-solving, and , typing and oral communication % annually.
