The Apple Watch QA team is seeking a Fitness QA Engineer to help us ensure that our Watch applications are rock-solid and user-focused. We're looking for critical thinkers who would like to play a key role in qualifying iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS applications and the frameworks that support them. We practice nimble, fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between Engineering and QA. Key Qualifications An enthusiasm for customer-focused design, and high-quality technology Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance Programming skills in Python and Swift Experience developing UI Automation Passion for debugging difficult problems and driving results with multi-functional teams Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail At ease and adaptable in a dynamic and informal atmosphere Experience with developing test strategies, including writing test plans, test cases, custom tools, and testing architectures. Excellent communication skills are a requirement due to the high level of interaction with engineering teams, management, and other organizations within Apple Highly organized, creative, self-motivated, and passionate about achieving results An excitement for fitness and workout tracking applications Description In this position you will need to be self-motivated with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Day to day tasks will involve functional testing of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS applications, sometimes across concurrent release vectors. Your responsibilities will include design and implementation of test plans and test cases, risk analysis, cross-functional testing coordination, and integration testing across the system. Education & Experience BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,500.00 and $223,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apples discretionary employee stock programs.
