Job Overview
– Analytics Engineer – Our SaaS client is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Analytics Engineer to join its Data Analytics Department. This role acts as a vital link between data engineering and analysis, responsible for building scalable data models, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and developing analytics tools to support strategic decision-making across teams such as Marketing, Finance, and Product. The ideal candidate will have deep SQL expertise, experience with data modeling and transformation tools like dbt, and a strong ability to deliver user-friendly data products such as dashboards and semantic layers.
Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain robust data models and transformation pipelines. Create self-service analytics tools, including dashboards using Power BI or similar tools. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data products meet strategic needs. Document data logic, caveats, and design decisions to enhance data transparency and usability. Guide best practices in data modeling and transformation across teams.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and analytics. Expert SQL skills and hands-on experience with tools like dbt and Snowflake. Proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
