Role Overview In your role as a n Analytics Engineer , you'll join the Chartis Advanced Analytics team, helping develop analytic tools that are used by our clients and across our consulting practices. In this role, you'll work in both individual and team-based environments, using your skills to create data visualizations, pipelines and analytic methodologies. You'll build advanced dashboards in Tableau and Power BI that will be used to provide insight into the complex challenges that healthcare providers face today. Responsibilities l Develop intuitive, interactive dashboards and efficient data models for analytic tool s that are used by both clients and consulting team s l Build and manage the ETL processes and data pipelines for disparate data sources, making available for analytic reporting through multiple channels - Power BI, Tableau Server, and our Snowflake data warehouse l Work within a collaborative team to s upport all phases of the software development lifecycle - requirements gathering, development, testing, production operations , and documentation l Work Build new datasets to maximize utility using advanced data management and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, dbt, Python, Snowflake, etc.) l Support team initiatives to improve our processes, delivery, and core analytic skills Qualifications And Desired Skills l Bachelor's Degree required in a quantitative or technology-related field of study l 4+ years of experience in an analytics/data engineering role l Robust expertise with Tableau Desktop/Cloud and the ability to independently create meaningful, visually striking dashboards and analytics. l A strong understanding of core ELT processes, data modeling, relational database principles and design practices. Preferred Required l Strong SQL skills required (Snowflake experience preferred) l Experience with dbt , Python, and cloud-based architectures - particularly Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Factory - a plus l Experience with data management tools such as Alteryx and Tableau Prep is a plus. l Experience with version control systems. l Familiarity with healthcare data (e.g., claims data, hospital reporting data, or clinical decision support data) and analytics preferred l Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a capacity for translating product and business needs into technical specifications l Top-notch analytical and problem-solving skills, deep curiosity, and a desire to learn more l While there are no location requirements, geographic proximity to either our Chicago, New York, or Boston offices is preferred. l Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship Salary range: $ 75,000 -$ 100,000 , plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
