JOB OVERVIEW We are seeking a skilled Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer for our Bay Area team. This role involves developing verification strategies for complex mixed-signal ICs used in semiconductor micro-LED products. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in analog/mixed-signal verification, modeling, and cross-functional collaboration. A critical part of the role is identifying design issues. RESPONSIBILITIES Review, simulate, and validate analog designs (non-design role) Identify potential design issues Perform SPICE simulations, RC extraction, and understand SRAM/Cell architectures Develop and implement verification strategies and coverage plans based on IC specifications Design and build verification testbenches using SystemVerilog and industry-standard methodologies Create and execute test cases to validate circuit functionality, performance, and reliability Develop analog behavioral models and verify simulation accuracy through equivalence checks Collaborate with design, layout, and digital verification teams to resolve issues Sign off on mixed-signal blocks and support tapeout readiness Create automation scripts to improve workflow efficiency Stay updated on emerging verification methodologies and modeling techniques Basic qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent 15–20 years of relevant experience Experience with sub-40nm processes and memory architectures preferred Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal design and verification principles Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog, and scripting languages like Python or Perl Experience with simulation tools, coverage, waveform analysis, and automation frameworks Familiarity with analog IPs (ADC, DAC, LDO, charge pump) and SPICE simulation Excellent debugging, communication, and collaboration skills Preferred additional skills, traits, and experience Team player Proactive collaboration and execution Flexible in switching technical contexts Willingness to learn new tools and methods Ability to prioritize and multitask Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills We offer The annual salary range is $80,000 – $250,000, depending on experience, background, and market factors.
