Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Although we do not currently have an opening for Algorithm Engineers, we are continuously building our talent community and are interested in your background. Responsibilities Contribute to the development of novel image processing, defect detection, analysis, and optimization algorithms, balancing sophistication and computational complexity through comprehensive data analysis. Evaluate and productize deep learning and other innovative approaches to enhance the performance of existing algorithms in inspection processes. Collaborate with software and computer teams to design and implement data management, model training, and inference workflows. Develop creative ideas, proof-of-concepts, integrate algorithms into production code, and work with global project teams. Qualifications Academic background in one of the following areas: Image Processing, Computational Imaging, Computer Vision. Practical experience with Deep Learning, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence applied to images is preferred. Proficiency in prototyping algorithms using MATLAB or Python, and implementing in C++ under Linux is preferred. Additional skills that are a plus include: Linear and Nonlinear Optimization techniques, CUDA/GPU frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow), Data Analysis, and Visualization tools. Minimum Qualifications Doctorate with 3 years of related experience, or Master's Degree with 6 years of related experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience. Pay Range: $139,300 - $236,800.
