Job Description:
The Responsible AI Senior Systems Engineer designs, develops, and supports the technical infrastructure needed to ensure ethical, secure, and transparent AI deployment within DoD environments. This role ensures integration of Responsible AI tools and practices across platforms and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, secure AI/ML architectures with embedded RAI controls.
Integrate bias detection, explainability, and governance tools into production environments.
Collaborate with DevSecOps, policy, and data science teams to ensure RAI compliance.
Support development and deployment activities on platforms such as ADVANA and JCF.
Conduct technical assessments to evaluate AI fairness, auditability, and model risks.
Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and compliance artifacts.
Participate in technical reviews, security audits, and compliance validations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
5+ years of experience in AI/ML infrastructure and system design.
2+ years supporting DoD AI platforms (e.g., JCF, ADVANA).
2+ years of experience with Responsible AI software tools and integration frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
