Our work depends on a Ship Integration & Test (SI&T) Alignment Engineer joining our team to support the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) activities.

As a SI&T Alignment Engineer supporting PEO IWS, you will be trusted to bring together a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed to provide engineering planning, design, integration, installation, and test of Aegis Combat Systems (ACS) onboard ships post-construction and during maintenance availabilities. This senior position will be tied to both Program Management and Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Aegis Combat System Alignment Verification. Specific responsibilities include:
Conduct shipboard or site alignment testing, data processing, review and analysis of alignment verification data
Review and produce adaptation data products, including identify and resolve issues
Conduct shipboard testing according to government furnished test procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger GDIT Navy and Marine Corps Sector
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
A Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in the relevant field or equivalent years of experience (4 years of additional equivalent experience can be substituted for a BA/BS)
Over fifteen (15+) years of experience as an Alignment Engineer or equivalent for Navy Ships
Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger GDIT Navy and Marine Corps Sector
A US DoD Secret security clearance is required.
US Citizenship is required

The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $154,211. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
