Advanced Vibratory Fatigue Engineer - Now Hiring!

1 Days Old

The Advanced Vibratory Fatigue Engineer will focus on simulation activities to support product development and research in the field of vibratory fatigue. The engineer will be responsible for developing and validating models, running simulations, post-processing results, and communicating findings with internal stakeholders. This role involves responding to requests from product-responsible departments by delivering analytical results using existing tools and methodologies—or by developing new tools and methods when current capabilities are insufficient.
The responsibility of the engineer will include, but not limited to: •Perform structural analysis under deterministic, road input, and random loading conditions (e.g., PSD, shock). •Conduct fatigue analysis involving multiple load cases and time-step combinations. •Lead Design of Experiments (DoE) and optimization studies to balance durability with performance metrics such as weight and NVH. •Execute detailed investigations, includi ng root cause analysis and validation of enablers to meet performance targets. •Carry out correlation activities to validate the confidence level of virtual analysis results. •Coordinate CAE validation plans for propulsion system programs: •Define analysis scope and targets with stakeholders. •Track and report progress against targets. •Identify and validate corrective actions when targets are not met. •Deliver technical synthesis and reporting with clear takeaways, executive summaries, and risk mitigation plans. •Engage directly with STLA stakeholders for: •Input data collection and validation. •Review and communication of analysis results. •Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and new team members.
