Job Description
Coordinate APQP and PPAP processes for new product launches and design or revision updates. Collaborate with Product and Process Engineers to implement and maintain quality plans throughout the product lifecycle. Prepare and submit comprehensive PPAP documentation in accordance with specific customer requirements. Develop and maintain key quality documents, including Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, FMEAs, Inspection Reports, and Work Instructions. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality-related issues. Facilitate root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Conduct inspections and testing on individual components and final assemblies to verify compliance. Maintain accurate records of non-conformances, inspection results, and corrective action activities. Ensure proper calibration and upkeep of measurement and quality assurance equipment. Collect, interpret, and present quality data using appropriate statistical tools and methods.

The Successful Applicant
Minimum of 3-5 years of quality-related experience in the manufacturing industry. Familiarity with metal stamping, metal fabrication processes, and component assembly is preferred. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, exercise sound judgement, and resolve quality issues. Proficient in both verbal and written communication with a variety of stakeholders. Solid understanding of APQP and PPAP methodologies and their practical application. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specification. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadline. Hands-on experience with standard inspection and measurement tool. Proficient in commonly used office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Experience with statistical analysis methods is preferred. Strong understanding of product and process control strategies.
