Our Client is looking for a customer-focused team player to work on-site in a mission-oriented environment. The candidate must be a self-starter, possess good communication skills, and be willing to interface with multiple teams throughout the design, development and test process. We are currently seeking a Test/Software Engineer with emphasis on software development to test and validate cryptographic products. The engineer will perform the installation, integration, and test of operational equipment/software to verify compliance with the system design, requirements, and standards. The engineer will perform in-depth security verification testing of cryptographic product designs and equipment and maintain a broad knowledge of the system. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, motivated, customer oriented, and willing to mentor others while learning new technologies.Qualifications: ● Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph ● Proficient with Python coding language ● Proficient with C coding language ● “hands-on” testing and debugging experience ● Analyze system requirements to derive tests that validate the requirements. ● Write tests using Python to test the system. ● Debug existing software and correct defects. ● Work with hardware and software engineers to define and develop systems to test cryptographic products. ● Draft or review test plans and system documentation. ● Assist with recommendations for improving documentation and development process standards. ● Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components. ● Assist with the modification of software to correct errors, adapt to new hardwareimprove performance. ● Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met. Other Highly Desirable Experience: ● Embedded software development ● FPGA experience ● Knowledge of cryptographic protocols, hardware and software Education/Experience: Mid-Career: Four (4) years of test and/or software development experience and an Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor’s degree. An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement. Senior: Ten (10) years of test and/or software development experience and an Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor’s degree. An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
